BEMER Therapy is an excellent non-invasive therapy procedure that enhances blood flow and circulation throughout the body. BEMER therapy uses small magnetic pulses to improve your cardiovascular function. This pulsation can aid your natural blood flow, improving circulation to the all parts of the body. Studies by the BEMER Group show that utilizing the BEMER device can aid blood circulation to the farthest extremities of our cardiovascular system. At the points farthest from the heart, our cardiovascular system has microvessels. These microvessels are the smallest veins in our bodies, and they supply cells with the nutrients they need to survive, thrive, and multiply.
If you think you’re suffering from poor circulation, or you simply want to enhance your well-being, you may benefit from BEMER Therapy. BEMER Therapy users may note an improvement in their energy levels, mood, and mental acuity. BEMER Therapy may also aid a body in recovering from injury, stress, malnourishment, or overuse. A former Collegiate athlete and Strength and Conditioning Specialist with a background in Sports medicine, Tim has developed a unique approach to massage through nearly a decade of experience in both Eastern and Western modalities. Tim takes a results-based approach to his bodywork, opting to teach his clients how to care for themselves instead of having them return indefinitely for spa-like treatments. Tim is certified as a Massage Therapist, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Metabolic Typing advisor as well as being a prominent member of the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine. Tim has coined the term, “Postural modification through therapeutic bodywork and corrective exercise” as a concise definition of his approach to massage. As he likes to tell his clients, "At the end of the day we all use our muscles to move us, which makes us all athletes. Once we figure out what your sport looks like we can treat your body properly.” Let Tim take your body to a place of efficiency in your daily life.
Postural modification is a treatment protocol rooted in the belief that many, if not all, musculoskeletal disorders can be traced back to improper posture. When the posture is lax certain muscles become tight and others become weak which leads to forces pulling on the body improperly. This causes pain, tightness, or soreness in the body. Through postural modification we can realign the structures by balancing the musculoskeletal system, eliminating pain and discomfort.
Corrective exercise prescription is a component of postural modification massages. This is really the part that is dependent on the patient. Corrective exercises are prescribed to strengthen and/or lengthen the specific muscles being targeted in a postural modification session. We prescribe exercises and stretches that can be done in your home or at a gym.
